Samsung starts One UI 7 beta program in India

10 days ago the Korean tech giant announced the One UI 7 beta program for the Galaxy S24 series in four countries; today the update was also released in two remaining regions. Galaxy S24 users in India now can join the One UI 7 beta program.

After a failed rumored date, Samsung’s One UI 7 is officially announced in India. After a long-awaited wait, finally, Galaxy S24 series users can finally taste the One UI 7 features before the stable release. However, before installing, please keep in mind this is a beta program, not stable, so it will come with many bugs and issues.

It is officially advised that you not install these beta programs on your primary device. Payment apps, Good Lock apps, and many others are not working properly with this beta.

How to join the One UI 7 beta program

Step 1

  • Download or update the Samsung Members app.
  • Now log in with your Samsung account.
  • Tap on the “Registration for One UI Beta Program” banner or notices page to register.

Step 2

  • Go to the Settings menu.
  • Here, tap on the software update.
  • Once the One UI 7 beta OTA update is available, tap on the download and install.

The update is rolling out with build versions S921BXXU4ZXL5, S926BXXU4ZXL5, and S928BXXU4ZXL5 for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, respectively. Further, the download package size for the update is around 4.5 GB. The update also includes December 2024 Android security patches.

One UI 7 beta-eligible countries

However, this year the One UI 7 beta program is available for only six countries, including South Korea, the US, the UK, Germany, Poland, and India. In addition, One UI 7 is the biggest upgrade in One UI history, which brings fresh animations, new dynamic icons, a much better control center, and lots of new interesting features like the Now Bar.
