OnePlus 12 December 2024 update Integrated AI features [OxygenOS 15]
OnePlus is enhancing the OnePlus 12 security segments with the December 2024 update alongside integrated AI features. The company is rolling out the latest firmware in batches. It will take some days to approach all the eligible smartphone users in the Indian market.
Looking at the screenshots, it seems that the OnePlus 12 is getting the December 2024 update with the OxygenOS CPH2573_15.0.0.404(EX01V20P01) version. To avoid compatibility issues while upgrading, make sure your device is already running on the baseline build 15.0.0.305.
OnePlus 12 users are receiving the new December 2024 update with some security improvements. The company has added useful security system changes in this update. Device owners will also get bug fixes in the latest rollout.
OxygenOS 15 AI features
In addition to the security enhancements, this update brings three new AI features including AI Reply, AI Check, and AI Rewrite. Similar to the One UI 7 advanced writing assist tools, these AI features allow you can be brought up whenever text is selected. AI Check can be used to check spelling, grammar, and tone. AI rewrite also offers text summarization and auto-formatting of notes.
Moreover, you can see the status of the flashlight and charging information on Live Alerts after installing this update. Plus, it allows you to add birthday, anniversary, and countdown widgets to the Calendar app.

How to update
Users can further try installing the new update manually. Just go to the Settings app select About device and tap on the OxygenOS card. Now tap on Check for the updates and follow the on-screen instructions. Make sure to have good storage and battery levels in your device before proceeding with the installation.
