Now, non-beta users of the Galaxy S24 series are getting the latest December 2024 update with over 45 security fixes.
Plus, the company already released the December 2024 update for Gaalxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 in Kora, and more regions it will release soon. On the other hand, a report reveals that the company could launch One UI 7 beta 2 for the Galaxy S24 series this week, probably tomorrow December 10, or December 12.
Galaxy S24 December 2024 update rolling for non-beta users in Korea
For the Galaxy S24 series, the December 2024 security update is available in Korea. The update is expected to be available for other Galaxy smartphones as well as in other countries in the coming days or weeks. This firmware for the Galaxy S24 series in Korea can be verified through the One UI versions given below:
- Galaxy S24: S921NKSS4AXKA
- Galaxy S24+: S926NKSS4AXKA
- Galaxy S24 Ultra: S928NKSS4AXKA
This new firmware is based on Android 14-based One UI 6.1 and protects Galaxy devices from security threats by integrating the latest security patches from Google and Samsung. In addition, this update fixes bugs discovered in the previous software to provide a more secure and efficient user experience.
To check for updates manually, go to your phone’s Settings. At the bottom, you will find the Software Update section, just open it and tap on Download and Install. Inside the submenu, if your Galaxy brings a new OTA, you will need to press the Install button.
Samsung is likely to release the One UI 7 beta update for its smartphones this week. Recent reports suggest that the beta update is on its way with the One UI build ZXL2/ZXL3 for the Galaxy S24 series in Germany, South Korea, and the US.
