Stable Nothing OS 3.0 update for Phone 2 and 2a is here!
The trial period is over, and the stable Android 15 and Nothing OS 3.0 update Nothing Phone users were waiting for is now here! The consumer tech giant has released the stable Nothing OS 3.0 update, based on Android 15, for the Nothing Phone (2) and Phone (2a), following weeks of beta updates that allowed customers in select countries to test out the new features before their public release.
For those wondering, the update officially started rolling out this week – there were reports of it being released by the end of this year. Plus, the company also confirmed the stable version of Nothing OS 3.0 will launch Phone (1), Phone (2a) Plus, and CMF Phone 1 at the beginning of 2025.
Nothing OS 3.0 Stable update: New features
Coming to the Nothing OS 3.0 stable update for Phone (2) and Phone (2a), the update brings lots of new features and improvements. It brings a lot of useful new features to the operating system and to various Nothing apps, along with a number of minor improvements and changes that all come together to make the user experience better.
Moreover, it introduces a brand new Nothing Stock Gallery which brings a new experience for both album view and photo view which is well-designed and easy to understand. Lock screen improvements, the ability to personalize the lock screen as per your liking, advanced watch faces with long press on the lock screen, and much more.
One more notable new feature includes the Share widget which makes it easier to share and connect with friends and family. Nothing OS 3.0 includes additional enhancements, including improved quick settings, improved pop-up view, visual and performance enhancements, and updated typography.
Once the update is released in your country, you will be able to download the stable update by tapping the Download and Install option in the Software update section of the phone’s Settings.
