OnePlus 13 Series Will Take Place in January 2025 at OnePlus’s “Winter Launch Event”

OnePlus officially confirmed the launch dates of the OnePlus 13 and the OnePlus 13R. According to the social media platform X post, there will be a “Winter Launch Event” on January 7, 2025, at 10:30 AM EST, 4:30 PM CET, and 9:00 PM IST. Additionally, the OnePlus 13R official image is revealed, which indicates that the upcoming series will indulge with the AI intelligence of the OnePlus. The company has not declared the event place.

OnePlus 13 Expected Specs

The OnePlus 13 series is gradually starting to be revealed, and the specifications and features of the OnePlus 13 and 13R will appear officially soon. It is expected that the OnePlus 13 comes with a 6.82-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, gets a sneak peek at 4500 nits’ highest brightness, and also comes with a powerful chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite. OnePlus 13 will be available with 12/16/24 GB of RAM and 256/512 GB and 1 TB of storage ROM, which is also expandable.

The OnePlus 13 will have a triple rear camera: a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide camera with autofocus, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3X zoom and OIS, with a 32MP selfie camera. The device has a huge 6,000 mAh battery for long performance with support of 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The device comes with the latest OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15 software.

OnePlus 13R Expected Specs

While the OnePlus 13R is rendering with its official image, it is also expected that this device will come with a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE X LTPO flat display with a 12Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It will be available with LPDDR5x RAM in 12/16 GB RAM and 256/512 GB and 1 TB storage ROM & UFS 4.0 storage.

The device will have a 50MP OIS and an 8MP + 2MP rear camera along with a 16MP front camera. It also comes on OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15 software. The device will operate with a 6500mAh long battery life with an 80W supporting charger. The device design indicates that it will have a metal frame, an alert slider, and an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.
