Galaxy S24 Series One UI 7 Beta 2 Update live (ZXL5)
Following the release of the One UI 7 beta program in India, Samsung has started rolling out the Android 15-based One UI 7 beta 2 for the Galaxy S24 series. The latest beta update is rolling out gradually to beta participants in Germany, South Korea, the UK, and the US.
For Galaxy S24 series phone users in India, this update brings a major UI redesign, featuring a new and more customizable Quick Panel layout and a separate page for notifications. Moreover, this update delivers smoother and more attractive-looking animations and transitions in addition to refreshing the app icons for almost all stock apps and introducing the Now Bar for ongoing activities.
According to the information, One UI 7 beta 2 for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra has a One UI build version ending with ZXL5. This build includes major changes and fixes as part of improving the user experience and system stability. Users will have to download a 1043.07 MB package to install the update.
Moreover, the beta update carries the December 2024 security patch to improve system security. In addition, it manages system stability, performance, and camera functionality, ensuring a smoother operation.
According to the official changelog, the update fixes everything from the cool new Now bar feature to existing features like Wireless DeX and Game Booster. Apart from this, the company has also fixed some visual issues, such as slow transitions between apps on the Recent screen and the transparency of the home screen widget for the Samsung Reminders app.
