Samsung rolls out December 2024 update for Galaxy S23 FE
The US and European units of the Galaxy S23 FE started receiving the December 2024 security update. The latest security update brings more than 48 Android security patches. The patches are improving the overall security of the device by fixing security vulnerabilities.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE European users are receiving the latest update with build version S711BXXS6DXK8. In the US, the update is spotted on unlocked units and rolling out with build version S711U1UEU6CXK9. Noticeably, carrier-locked models of the device received the second update with the November 2024 security a few days ago.
In addition to security patches, it is also improving the system stability of the device. The update also includes some bug fixes that users were facing after its last November security update. In some scenarios, application functionality also becomes more stable.
To check and install the update manually, go to the Settings menu, then click on Software Update; now tap on the Download and Install button. These monthly updates may take time to reach every unit of the Galaxy S23 FE, so if the update is not showing on your device at the time, wait for a few hours; the OTA update will be available soon.
