Nothing Phone 1 Nothing OS 3.0 Open Beta rollout
Following the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus and CMF Phone 1, Nothing has rolled out the Android 15-based Nothing OS 3.0 Open Beta update for Nothing Phone 1 ahead of the stable rollout. Last month, the company released the Nothing OS 3.0 Open Beta 2 for the Nothing Phone 2 and Phone 2a users, with a stable release later this month.
According to the community post, Nothing OS 3.0 Open Beta 1 is rolling out for Nothing Phone 1. Nothing OS 3.0 beta update try out more features such as shared widgets, smart drawer enhancements, refined animations, and camera improvements.
The company hasn’t mentioned the release date of the stable version, so those who can’t wait to get a taste of Android 15 can install Nothing OS 3.0 Open Beta 1 on their phones. However, do note that beta builds often have bugs that can inhibit the user experience, so it’s best to avoid them on primary devices.
If you still want to try the Nothing OS 3.0 Open Beta 1 on your phone, make sure you have installed NOS version 2.6 on your Nothing Phone 1 running on the build number Spacewar-U2.6-241031-1818.
Once you download the APK link on your Nothing device, go to Settings > Systme > Update to Beta version. Now, click on the Check for new version and follow the on-screen instructions to install it.
