Honor Magic 7 Series Software Update Policy Android Major Update and Security Patch
Honor introduced Honor Magic 7 and 7 Pro with installed MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15 and promised to deploy four years of major Android software updates to the Honor Magic 7 series. The Honor Magic 7 series launched in China on 30th October 2024 with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, but the global launch is still waiting.

Magic 7 and 7 Pro will optimize up to Android 19 based on MagicOS 13, and the monthly security patch update will roll out version form of MagicOS 13.0 for up to five years.
